While I was Facebook stalking my friends, I noticed how many of them are divorced. And then I started noticing how many of them are pregnant with their second child! When did I become old enough to have friends going through this? I just think its strange! I am only 24 years old!!

But speaking of people bearing children, my brother just had his second. And she is a big, beautiful girl!

And we also celebrated Ledgers first birthday! It was filled with lots of presents and a face full of cake!

Ringing In the New Year

This new years started out by us going to a movie the morning of new years eve.. I was super busy and it was was only 11:45 AM! Then we came home and hung out until 6. We then went to Chris and Jenn's and had a little party there. we stayed there until about 10:30 playing games and visiting. Randy and I came home and played some games on our Wii. We stayed up until about about 1 and then went to bed. New Years was on a sunday and church is now at 1. So we slept in late, went to church (we now teach the 6 yr olds), and then bummed around the rest of the day. It was nothing exiting but it was a great end of my week off work!

A new year brings a lot of new changes! I started at a new salon and love it. Everyone there is so nice and it will be just what I needed. I hope that this year will be full of new changes and good grades for Randy ;)

I'm constantly washing hair and it does a number on my hands. So today, I am thankful for something that gives my poor cracked hands relief. Now I just need to invest in one that is not fragrant. It burns my cracks.

Day 8: No mice to keep us up at night

Lately there was a lot of mice running through the floor boards of the basement (so the ceiling for us). They would stay up all night and munch on all sorts of stuff all night long. It would make us so angry. So we set traps. We caught 8 mice in a week. Then they got too smart for the traps. They would eat the peanut butter, than go on their merry way. So we stuck Dec-con up in there and we don't hear them any more. they ate 2 whole boxes. now we just have to deal with a stinky house! (We thought they would go outside to get water!)

Day 3: My Sister

She is my very best friend. She is beautiful, talented {and sometimes gets taken advantage for that} and is hilarious. I was talking about her the other day to my friend, and started tearing up. I miss her so much! She is the most loyal, dependable person I've ever met. She is an amazing mom (ask Jenn about how grandma compares her to Kim) and is married to and raising my other best friends. She would do anything for her family and friends without a second thought. Sometimes I think Randy even gets a little jealous of how close we are. She is the BEST ♥

I went to spend the day with Lyndsie and Ledger and she informed that that she thinks that she is the only one that blogs anymore. (I don't' know why...my last blog post was only a year ago). She also informed me that is was the 2nd of Nov. Not the 1st! So I am challenging myself to a post everyday this month for something I am grateful for (starting with yesterdays {or today's if you ask me).

Day 1: My parents

For letting us live in their basement. with 3 dogs. I know we could make it without their help, but it sure makes things easier with them. And I think its great that our relationship is getting stronger by doing this. AND they make us dinner at least once a week. Which is awesome when Randy has spend the whole day at school, and me at work. They are such a blessing!

Day 2: Randy's dedication

I complain about it all the time, but when it comes down to it I think its awesome that he is so dedicated to be all that he can be. He puts so much effort into school and only wants the best. He tries so hard and balancing his life with me and his life with school. And I try not to be jealous of his laptop and textbooks! (Its harder than you think) So here is to (at least) 2 1/2 more years! Maybe I should just have a kid. then I would have someone to hang out with. {Don't tell my mom I said that}

I am not sure why, but I didn't get a picture of me in my costume. I'll have to steal one from my mom. I also didn't take a picture of the pumpkins we carved. and now they are all molded and caved in. I should probably throw those out.. But I did get randy in his get up. he dressed up for a whole 1/2 hour. and it wasn't even on Halloween. I however dressed up for work and ended up being the only one that did!

Because not all of us are gamers, let me explain who Randy dressed up as...Meet ghost, he is a character off of modern warfare. I'm not sure what he does but he looks creepy and randy's all about that because then he can scare the dogs

He was determined to make his mask because I said it would be too hard. He proved me wrong. I was very impressed.

Randy's 27th

Randy's birthday was chaos and sparatic . Friday was his real birthday but he had school and I worked so he didn't get to open his presents until around 7 pm! He was exited! I got him some clothes, I know...boring.

Then we went out to dinner at Texas Roadhouse. Like usual, it was packed and took forever to get us in.

The next day I took work off. We decided to take the day and hike up to silver lakes with my parents. It was the perfect timing cause it was when all the leaves were starting to change colors!

This year, Kim helped me out! I really needed the help this year because we ended up doing 3 small tree's! These tree's are kinda ugly because this was all of our leftovers from previous years. My dad told us that he was going to throw away all of our ornaments if we didn't do something with them, so we dedicated this year to all of our old ornaments! They all sold on opening night and I was really surprised! I wonder if my parents got in on that :)

The day after thanksgiving we went to Oak City to get our Christmas tree... There was a significant amount of snow on the mountain this year. We usually can drive all the way to the top of the peak without any problems but this year we were slipping and sliding the whole way up! We chopped down the one we wanted and then we brought it home...We didn't want to pay for gas in the truck so we just took the car. and this is what we looked like when we drove home...

when we were strapping it on, Cathy (Randy's mom) kept saying, "this is how they do it on the Christmas Story". We got a few good stares on our drive

Last month, Randy and I decided it would be best to transfer up to SLCC right after his summer semester here at Dixie. I kinda panicked.. I had always said how much I love it up north, and want to move back. and then when it actually came down to it, I got so nervous! Then on Monday I got a call from my district manager saying he needed me asap up north to fill in an open spot. So..I could either move now and have a great spot at my job, or I could move in august and "see what job openings we have at the time".. Keep in mind, I have my health/dental insurance with them, and Randy doesn't have a job right now.

SO, we are moving up May 8th! I'm just a little stressed out. I have two weeks to pack everything up and move. Randy is stressed out too because that is FINALS WEEK!

I turned 22!! Ween people asked me "what did you want to be when your are older", Older to me was people in their 20's! I'm finally that "older person"! I feel so young in the sense that I have been married for a year and a half already, but so old cause i'm that "older person".

But, I had such a great birthday and had my brother Jeff and his family, mom and dad, and kim's family to party it up with me. I woke up early and went to the temple with my parents and shawna. Then my parents took me over to buy me all new temple clothes! and Randy too! Such a nice present for the both of us! Then we went out and shot skeets with everyone. We shot for a few hours and then came home and had a delicious dinner and then ice cream cake that Randy made all by himself! It was so yummy and you all missed out!

Randy got me a FREAKIN nice camera and I LOVE it!!

I told Randy that I wanted a birthday hat that I could wear all day, he couldn't find any, so he made me this nice pope hat.

Christmas, New Years, and Kim's Birthday Party!

CHRISTMAS:

For Christmas we went to Oak City for Christmas eve and then we drove up to Alpine for Christmas day. This was my first year away from my moms! It was so different but it was also fun. We had a nice dinner on christmas eve and hung out with the family all night. then when we woke up, instead of opening presents, they watched the end of 'Wedding Singer' which was on t.v... That would have NEVER happened at my house! Presents are first priority! ha. so after we opened presents came the finale. We had the sleigh pretty much finished and were ready to give it to her. So while the boys got it out of the trailer and into the front yard, I distracted her. We covered her eyes and led her out to the front yard. She loved it but was scared it was going to break down on her (no faith in her own son's building talents). We never got around to waxing the metal so it was kind a rough. and their wasn't too much snow on the ground. Their pulling horse passed away a few weeks before hand so we had to pull it behind the truck. Hey, we're rednecks!! Us getting ready to go to bed on Christmas Eve!

New Years
we also spend new years in Oak City.. We weren't planning on it but Randy ended up going up there to help his brother in law finish up a few houses. So I hitched a ride with my mother in law back to Oak City and we spent the night together! New years is always over rated for me. I always have all these fun party plans and they never work out. This year Randy played sing star with me and we played games with his family. Then we watched the ball drop and then went to bed. Simple, fun night.

Kim's Birthday!
Kim turned 24 on Jan. 4th! So for their birthday I watched Cutler while they went out for a date night and then they came over and we had cupcakes and sang to her!
My sister is my very best friend and I don't know what I would do without her! She is so smart, beautiful, and hilirious. I love her and I'm blessed to have her in my life! Happy Birthday!

Christmas Traditions

This year we went up to Oak City for Thanksgiving, and while we were out there we snatched this beauty. It so much better than our tree last year! haha. We had a lot of fun decorating it and we have already got lots of presents under it! it gets me exited!!!

I know you can't see what Randy is holding, but it is a wiener dog (stuffed in a hot dog bun with lettuce) ornament. We wouldn't be crazy wiener dog people if we didn't have an ornament to prove it!

Randy wanted to put the star on this year, so I gave him a lift. Then I took it off and I put it on ;)

Festival of Trees

This is my first year not going to festival! I have been so sad about it all week. But I've called my dad regularly to see how it was going... I wanted to still decorate a tree so my mom brought all our decorations and a tree down to St. George and we decorated it together! This year was kinda a leftover ornament tree but it turned out really good. It was one of my favorites I've done so far! So my mom packed it up and took it to the expo center and had to set it up there without me! But luckily, it sold on opening night! My grandma Morgan and her friends decorate a wreath every year and it also sold on opening night, as well and Grandma Rass' and Aunt Cheryl's wreath. Randy made a frame for a picture that was donated and that sold on opening night too! I have a family with many talents!

Oak City Days

I know this was in Aug but I decided I needed to post something new. and this is the only thing I could think of! In August we went to Oak City to take part in their town celebration. They had this fishing thing where the kids get in a pool and catch fish with their hands. My nephew Dreydon caught one and didn't know what to do with it. he wanted to put it back so he could keep fishing.

Santa's Sleigh

Randy's mom has always wanted a sleigh so for Christmas, that is exactly what she is getting. Randy drew this up himself and customized it to how we both wanted it. It is looking so good so far and I'll post more pictures when it is done.

but we were thinking that if any of you wanted to give a sleigh to your parents or anyone, Randy could make it for you too. and you could customize it however you want. This sleigh we have made can fit 2 big people or 2 adults with 1 small child. We are pricing this one at about $1000. Obviously if you want it smaller, then the less money it will cost us, and you. Let me know if you want it done!

Since I've gotten married in the temple, a lot of my dresses have become too short. So being the crafty self I am (and with the help on my mother) I went to the fabric store and added inches to my dresses and so they are wearable again! yay!

The black one we added a fabric that was a little shinier and stretchier.

The blue and white one, It originally had that blue band so we just stuck a white piece inbetween the blue band and the dress.

We went up to Alpine for the 24th of July. Usually when we go up there we overplan our weekend but this time we took some time to go boating with my family. Randy has herd horror stories of how my family tends to just throw you in the water if you refuse to participate. So he was not really exited to go. He doesn't know how to wakeboard and has only been on a boat a few times and did not want to participate. So he sat on the boat pretty much all day until my dad started to drill him about getting out there and tubing. So he thought he was pretty tricky and said he would do it if my mom did it. So my mom got her lifejacket on and said she was going.. So Randy finally got on the tube!! he had a lot of fun and I'm glad he actually went. I really didn't think he'd do it...So hopefully over time he will be a wakeboarder pro.

We also got to go to Carters blessing! He was so cute. Chris and Carter had matching outfits for the blessing. Chris was so nervous but he did such and awesome job. We are so exited to have Carter born into our family, he is a little stud.

first YEAR married

Last sunday was our first anniversary. I couldn't believe it. Time has gone by so fast and it has been such a good year. We are still yet to get into a big fight although we have had plenty of little tissy fits. Because it was sunday there wasn't a whole lot we could do so we slept in and Randy made me a very yummy breakfast. We then went and taught our primary class. When we got home we had a nice roast dinner (wish mashed potatoes OF COURSE). Then just took the rest of the day easy. It was a nice day, not too busy and full of chaos. Our only chaos was the 3 dogs running around. Not bad for an anniversary celebration.

Because we are still considered newlyweds and are considerably poor, we called necessitys, gifts. So for Randy's present he got new (bigger) tires and a leveling kit, and I got a new dining set that he made me. Its beautiful... pictures will be comming soon of what it looks like. We are putting the finishing touches on it today.

I'm still very in love with him.

Freedom Weekend

This weekend we went to Oak City to go to the demolition derby and spend time with family. We got there Friday morning and just hung out. My mom and dad came in town to hang out with us. We went camping with us four, and our 4 dogs.... once we got there we herd this stupid bird cooing relentlessly and all we could think of is "I hope this bird doesn't do this all night". So we get ready to go to bed and put all the dogs in their crate. We only brought the one and so all three of them got cozy. We are finally in bed and we hear something going on in the crate. The first thing we thought of was "what is Cooper doing to those girls?" ha ha. Then it got louder and so we got the flash light out and looked inside and Porcia was on her side having a seizure and foaming at the mouth... so we rip the top off the crate and grab the puppies. I run to get my parents and when I get back to our tent Porcia jumps up and starts barking. It was like she didn't know where she was or who we were. She was just barking to bark. It was the weirdest thing. The first thing I thought of was oh no, Porcia has mad cow disease. ha.. My dad gets down there and starts petting her and calming her down. Randy is kinda nervous because he doesn't want her to bite anyone but my dad tells me to get down there and talk to her because she knows me... so I do and she just went back to normal. It was the weirdest thing. So again, we tried to go to bed.. This time Porcia slept with me and the puppies went back in the crate. Once 5:30 in the morning rolled around that freaking bird FINALLY stopped chirping. It even chirped during the rain storm and while Randy went out to throw rocks at it. If the bird stopped chirping then it was the rain hitting the tent to keep us up. So we finally went to bed but around 5 and slept until about 7 when Porcia was ready to get up, so I had to take her out which woke the puppies up. so long story short, we got little sleep that first night.

In the morning we get ready to make my dads famous mountain man hash..(which is his version of really good hash browns and eggs mixed together). So we get everything ready only to find that the coals had gotten soaked during the rain storm. So he spent some times dowsing them with lighter fluid to dry them up. Finally they were ready and it was so good.

In the morning Randy wanted to hike up to the summit and so we jumped at the chance.(Randy NEVER wants to hike. He even complains about the walk around the block I make him do to get the dogs some exercise) So we load everything in the truck and drive to the trail head. It was Cooper and Nikita's first hike, and Porcia's real walk for a real long time. All of us were dying.. ha ha. But we made it alive and it was so pretty. You could see all the way down to Yuba lake. We could have hiked up further and looked over Scipio and those towns but I was dead. (picture of us on the summit coming soon). After Nikita had a rest at the summit she didn't want to keep going so Randy lugged her about half way down until she wanted to run again. Their second wind must have kicked in because they were all booking it down the mountain.

Once we finished the hike we went down to my in-laws house and waited for Jenn, Chris, Carter, Jeff, Shawna, and the kids to arrive. I was so tired from the lack of sleep and hiking so I tried to take a little nap but Chris and Jenn arrived to fast. I got to hold Carter for the first time! He is so cute and we are going to become best friends.. I can already tell. Then Jeff and his family got there and it became a mad house compared to how it usually is at their house. They like it quite and not much going on so it was a little different for them. My family is so loud and there is a lot of us so its always a party. Compared to Randy's family who is so quite and small...ha they were awesome to put up with us. Saturday went by so fast, there was so much we wanted to do. We wanted to go swimming at the river, play baseball, and just visit. but the day went by so fast all we got done was visiting. So at 5 we loaded up and went to the derby. Luckily we all got seats relatively close to each other because it was so packed! There was so many people there!

Craig and Elise hung out with us and we had a lot of fun. We watched Stetson wreck up his old caddie. He didn't do the best but it was still entertaining. Tommy was in the figure 8 race and he was winning by a long shot until someone hit him and he stalled. Then he was out for the rest of the race!

This was the only picture I took all weekend! I am slacking!! Craig, Elise, Randy and I were smashed together but thats alright.

During the derby it rained a little, got a little chilly, and then got a little hot. It was kinda crazy weather. We wanted to watch Stetson in the grunge match so we waited until we couldn't wait any longer. He got hit pretty hard and couldn't get his car running again and then the rain really started to pick up. So since he was already out there was no really point in staying until the very end so we started booking it to my dads truck. He parked forever away and the rain was getting heavier and heavier by the second. By the time we made it to the truck we were sopping wet! By then it was already 11:30 so we just went up to our camp spot and went to bed. We wanted to get a fire going and cook some starburst and marsh mellows but our wood was sopping wet too. So we just went to bed. This time we left the puppies at Cathy's and just took Porcia. When we got there we were exited to not hear that dang bird! Being so tired from the exiting day I went to bed pretty fast. But in the middle of the night I woke up to that bird! This time it was closer! Luckily it didn't stay nearly as long as it did the night before.

Once we got up, we packed up and my parents headed home. We went to sacrament with Randy's family, ate dinner, then headed home.

Randy is now selling custom bed frames... here is one he built to put up in the IntelliBED store in hopes that someone would want him to build one for them. They are sturdy and look awesome. Let me know if you want him to build you one. He will build swings or really anything you want him to if you just ask him. He is asking for double of whatever it costs him to build to pick up his labor costs.

Randy is almost done with his first semester of school since he has graduated high school... He is doing so well and really enjoys himself. This summer he eased his way back to school so he is just taking a history class and a computer class. I can tell he really likes it becuase almost every night he says something like..."did you know that back in the 1800's they did this..." He is always carrying his books around..just in case he gets a chance to keep reading. He tells me it is because summer school smashes all the stuff you need to read into just 3 months so he has so much to do..but I say it is because he really is that interested in it...I am so proud of him for doing this.. He is going out in mechanical engineering..

so I won't have a husband for the next 5 years.. so if anyone wants to hang out, I'd be happy to. ha

I know its been a while since Carter was born but I haven't bragged about it yet! He is so adorable and I'm so happy for Jenn and Chris. Carter is a little mini me for my brother and we love him and are thankful for a beautiful healthy baby boy to add to the brood of the Rasmussen nephews... We are lucky to have him...

and then we got a baby girl finally! I am lucky because Eva Lynn is my sister in laws little angel so my family still has no nieces... She is gorgeous and looks just like her big brother. She is so chill and we love her to death!

For Memorial Day we decided to go to Oak City and help Cristi and Drex wire their house. So we headed up Friday night and hung out until Monday afternoon. Randy was helping at their house the whole time so all I did was play with the dogs and hung out with the family. I shot birds on the porch with my mother-in-law, watched some interesting movies with Nicole, and went and watched them wire the house with Cristi. It was pretty uneventful but it was good to see the family..

The puppies were born April 3rd. Nikita was born first while we were eating lunch around 1. Randy went upstairs to check on Porcia because we knew she was going to have them soon and when he came back downstairs he said. "there is a puppy up there". I'm like no way, your lying. So I went upstairs and there she was! She was all cleaned off and everything. She was so little! Then about a 1/2 hour later she had Cooper. He was so much bigger than her. His head is like double! He came out with his tongue hanging out. It was so amazing and weird to watch. So now we have two cute puppies!!

On Sunday we went out and checked out the dinasour tracks. We only live about 20 min away from then and I've never seen them. They didn't have that many but it was still cool to see. I would love to be able to go back in time and see what life was really like back then. You could tell that there was water around back then. We finished the headboard! We stained it and then we added two posts on each side becuase it was a little smaller than we anticipated. but looks great, don't you agree?

So I found this bed frame on Etsy.com and thought was the coolest looking frame ever, but also extremely expensive. They wanted 7,000 dollars for it. So I gave the picture to Randy and he went home a drew up a plan and built it for me! So the bottom looks just like the picture and then I had an idea to do a wrought iron headboard instead of the shelves. We looked online to buy one and they are quite expensinve and so we printed off some of our ideas and custom made our own design! We even put an "S" right in the middle. Craig helped up weld it and bend the steel. I'm so happy with it. All we have to do is stain it!

Friday the 13th!

I turned 21! I woke up and opened my presents. Randy got me some new mats, seat covers, and some air fresheners for my car; a movie; and portable tetris. He's very good to me and I love him. We then headed up to Brianhead to go boarding. It was such a good day! It had just snowed so it was all fresh. I finally got Randy to go one the big boy jumps and he did so well! He was putting me to shame! I finally got back into my groove of doing boxes even though I took some good tumbles. I love going with Randy. He is the best company ever! After we were little icicles we decided to head home. We had everyone over for dinner and it was a better turn out than I was expecting. I was lucky to have my parents, Cathy, Nicole, and Connie all in town to crash the party. Also Kim, Jon, and Cutler came! It was so fun. We just relaxed and ate lots! My parents gave a cd workshop to keeping your marriage healthy, a picture of Randy and I in front of the temple in a beautiful frame, some batting so I can get going on my quilts, and a necklace with an "E" charm. Kim and John gave me a magnetic board with home made magnets! Lyndsie and Marq gave me a cute hat, chris and Jenn sent me a card! Everyone made sure to call me which impressed me because I'm so bad at that! Thank you everyone for making my birthday so great! Love you all!

So this boy is a sophmore at Deseret Hills and they are going to state for swimming. So to show his pride he dyed his hair the school colors (gold and black) and then shaved a lightning bolt because they are the Deseret Hills Thunder. But he couldn't stop there so on the other side of his head we shaved in D.H. I hope he did well at state!

Its time to breed that dog of ours. I've been waiting until I had my own house and the time to take care of her pups and that time is here! So we went to Springville to drop her off at her lovers house and it was very sad. A whole week without her! What was I to do. So we reluctantly left her and went home to moms. We then woke up and got a call from Skippers dad saying Porcia was acting weird and was limping around. So we went over to check her out and she would yelp every time we would touch her. There was no way she would get busy now that she was hurt! So we ended up taking him home with us! He is the cutest little guy ever. I'll be surprised if Randy lets my mom take him back home on saterday. He is having so much fun with him! But Porcia is still not makin love with him! I'm starting to get worried. But I hope it happens. So if anyone wants some little wieners let me know!

SIX MONTHS OF LOVIN'

Today marks the day that tells the world that we have been married for six months! I can't believe that it has been that long. It has flown by! We've made some great memories together and we are loving life. I wanted to do something fun tonight but he's in Delta working for the week :( I guess we'll just have to do something fun this weekend! New Years Eve was spent very quite in the Schmutz household. I'm not use to it at all but it was kinda nice. We just spent it watching the news and playing games with ourselves. Kim/Jon, and Christi/Drex were all out of town so we had nobody to play with. So we played games by ourselves! Then the next day we got up and went boarding. Such an amazing day! It was the perfect temperature and the snow was good as well. Can't wait to go next week! If anyone wants to come with us please do! It will be fun..

Also I want everyone to know my mother found my favorite Moccosins! i have been looking for them everywhere. I thought I lost them when I was making 1 of the 5 moves i've made since living here in Saint George. But no, SHE FOUND THEM. and I wear them everywhere now.

This was our first year married! WAHOO! GO US! So we spent Christmas Eve with my family and then Christmas night with Randy's. It was so much fun. I can't believe how much better Christmas is when you have someone to spend it with. I got a little carried away this year because of it! But Santa was nice enough to bring Randy a GUITAR! He didn't know how to play but he kept saying he wanted to learn whenever I got mine out. He has spent an hour a night learning to play and he's getting so good! Soon, we'll be jamming out together. ha ha. Randy surprised me with a picture of Christ. We have been wanting one for our house for a while now but we couldn't ever decide and just kept putting it off. Even better, he made the frame out of the wood on his grandpa's barn wood. It was such a perfect gift. We also got clothes and Shawna and Jeff got us a first aid kit which has already came in handy! It was so good to see all of my dad's side of the family Christmas day. That's pretty much the only time I get to see them all together, especially now that I've moved to Saint George. Its always so fun to catch up on every one's lives.

Then after Christmas dinner we headed to Oak City to spend the night with our other family. We went snowmobiling and opened more presents! My in laws gave me a beautiful vase! I love vases and we have so many so I'm sure Randy was stoked about that. ha ha. I also got a sign with the vinyl lettering on it from my sister in law. It was so good to spend the night with everyone even know Cristy/Drex and the kids weren't there.. They were missed.

All in all, it was a very good Christmas and I'm so glad I got to spend it with the people I love most.

We had so much fun playing in the snow while it lasted, which wasn't too long. Porcia got a new snow suit and so of course she was stoked to wear it and break it in. Craig was our photographer so the picture with us is kinda blurry. haha. I hope it snows again soon!!! Everyone else is getting POUNDED and I love it. We went snowboarding the next day and the snow resort was a powder paradise. Overall that was a good weekend.

Salt Lake trip

First time Christmas tree hunting!

Randy was appalled when I told him I've never had a real Christmas tree so he made it a point for us to go out and find one. Little did i know he's very particular about his tree's. We went out about 11:00 a.m. and searched and searched and we finally found one about 1:30 p.m. It was a lot of fun though. We drove up to the tip of the mountain and looked over all of Saint George and Pine Valley. Craig and Porcia went as well so it was a lot of fun. Then after we found our prize possession we drove down to the beginning of the Arizona Strip and we went shooting for a little bit. We took so long hunting down a tree that we only had a little time to shoot but it was still fun. I'm becoming quite the shot; who'd ever of known. When we got home we began to decorate the tree but because it was so BIG and BUSHY we ran out of lights and garnish within the first half. But we finally finished it and it looks like a giant Charly Brown Christmas tree. haha. Now we'll always remember how long it took us to find the "perfect" Christmas tree to only come home the the ugliest one around!

Yesterday was Randy and my first thanksgiving actually together. Last year we were together but we both went home to have it with our families. This year we spent it together with both our families. We were so blessed to have both our families come to Saint George and so we got to see them all. It was definitely different but I didn't feel like an outsider. They included me just like their family they have known forever. I am blessed to be married into such and awesome family. I feel bad for those that don't get along with their in-laws because their missing out on so much. It was a lot of fun and I ate too much food like always. I still have a few more days to be with my family and I look forward to it.

I am so thankful for such a great husband and all he gives me. We have loved being married and are looking forward to getting old together. Whoever said the first year is the hardest is full of crap. I have loved every minute of it.

So I have had such a great Thanksgiving and I look forward to seeing everyone when I go home for Christmas!!

I'm a little late to be getting around to this but Porcia just looks so freaking cute. I tried to find a turkey costume like I originally planned on but I couldn't find one anywhere! so I first bought her a chicken costume. Then when I got home and tried it on her she didn't fit in it! So we took that back and got a skunk costume. She looked so funny in it and it was awesome but the head of the skunk was so heavy so it kept falling down. Then while we were at walmart one day we picked up the cutest witch costume. and she loves it. and she looks adorable

for halloween we went to Kim and Jon's house and had a little get together. It was a lot of fun. We made hamburgers and had a pimp your cup contest and now that i come to think of it we never decided a winner. I took mine home so i could use it and all my jewels fell off. i guess hot glue gun glue doesn't like it when you wash it in hot soapy water. all well. here are some pictures of Randy and myself. Thriller!

Last weekend I had the pleasure of my awesome family coming to St. George to watch Thriller. It was a lot of fun. I think a few feelings were hurt in the effort of our weekend out together, but overall I enjoyed our time together. Here are a few pictures of our night together. My mom had the idea of everyone making sure it was such a fun night out so Aunt Cheryl made a delicious spooky dessert before we left and then we all had to get into our "costumes". It started out as my mom just wanting us in witches hats but then it turned into full costumes...except Kim, myself,Lindsay, and Tawna were the only ones in full costumes.. well not entirely full but you know. So Kim wore a ladybug costume and I was a bee. Lyndsay and Tawna were devils with extravagant eyelashes. My mom wore a witches hat to go along with her original plan and Cheryl and also Jesse wore witches hats. Cheryls hat was extravagant...of course. Jesse's hat was just dang cute, and then my mom's was this bland hat that she had to stuff with a bag to keep it up. haha it was rad. i had a lot of fun and i can't wait for the next time the family comes in town... by then Jenn might be showing!!

1) I throw a fit when i'm in bed and the blankets are all bunched up by my face. i hate that.

Such a great uncle, father, brother, son, ect. We will miss him dearly and will eagerly wait seeing him again soon after we pass. i am finally getting around to writing again! i found these pictures of my wedding and i want all of you to see how great at scrapbooking i am so i am posting pictures of my pages. i'm only two months behind. better late than never right?

its been over two months since we got married and its awesome. its better than i ever imagined.. we are STILL painting. i think we will always be painting. i'll be 80and my house will still not be done. maybe when we move out Craig will finish it up. ha.
we hope to get a few more camping trips in before it gets too cold so if anyone wants to go...we're down.
Porcia is stoked for halloween. she rocks her pumpkin shirt i got from the target $1 section. their children shirts so it doesnt really fit her like its suppose to. her boobies hang out. but she's going to be even more stoked when she see's her rad costume i havent gotten yet. she is going to be a turkey and we're going to rock her turkey gobbler neck. i'll have pictures of it, don't worry.
